About WRW
Established Fall 1988
“Based on the Big Book of Alcoholics Anonymous”
The purpose of the Women’s Recovery Workshop is to offer an opportunity for women in any 12-step program to gather and share their recovery with each other, learn more about the steps, and how to apply the principles in their daily lives. This is not a workshop led by mental health professionals. All of our workshop leaders and speakers are simply members of a 12-step program sharing experience, strength and hope.
The focus is to bring women from all 12 step groups together twice a year for a spiritual weekend. All groups are welcome.
The weekend workshop has 3 speakers (Friday night, Saturday night and Sunday morning.), a women’s panel Saturday morning, and break out workshops Saturday afternoon. There is a lot of fun, bonding and meeting new women on their journey of recovery.
We pride ourselves on bringing growth and spirituality to our recovery at the workshops. We have a workshop for everyone.
We also have vendors selling recovery related items so you can bring home a piece of the workshop.
Come join us for an experience unlike any other. You will make friends that last a lifetime. Whether this is your first workshop or your 50th workshop you will leave feeling refreshed and loved.
