Rock Eagle located in Eatonton GA and has been home to the Women’s Recovery Workshop for over 25 years. It is 1500 acres of protected forested land including a 110 acre lake. It is maintained by the University Of Georgia.

It has been home for the weekend to thousands of women who have attended the workshop to connect spiritually, learn to apply the steps to their lives on a daily basis and grow to become responsible women of integrity.

The workshop is full of speakers, break out meetings, fun place to do a 5th step with your sponsor and is a great way to meet new friends while on your journey of recovery.  The one thing you will find is lots of laughter and love.

Our goal is to celebrate who we were, what happened, and who we are today. You will surly meet some miracles throughout the weekend.

Friday night

Registrations starts at 4:00.  Then find your cabin and settle in. Dinner starts around 5:30. After dinner get to know your cabin mates. Want to share a cabin with your friends? Put the names of the people you want to share with on the form when you register. The sooner you register the more likely you will get to stay with your friends.  Put your $65 deposit down today. Cabins and space are on a first come basis.

Our Friday night meeting starts with a story about “Learning to Rely on Women”.

After the meeting  you will want to join the group at the bonfire for s’mores. There are no calories at this retreat.

Then at some point you will need to go to bed, but you probably won’t. Our night owls congregate in the common room of the cabin and talk the night away sharing their personal stories and adversities and how far they have come. This retreat is guaranteed to make life long lasting friendships.

Saturday

Saturday morning enjoy breakfast and then join us in the main hall for a discussion panel on “The Steps”. Four incredible women will share their experience of working the steps. This will be a great time to ask questions and hear new ways to apply these in your everyday life.

Before and after lunch we will offer breakouts.  Pick and choose, or take a walk on the nature trails and around the lake.

Spring 2018 Itinerary Coming Soon

(so check back)

Enjoy your afternoon at the breakouts and take home with you extra tools to add to your spiritual toolbox.

After dinner join us in the main room to hear “A Story of Recovery” by another amazing sober woman.

Then it’s Raffle time. Purchase raffle tickets and run and claim your prizes. All raffle ticket proceeds go to our scholarship fund to enable women who are financially unable to pay their entire way. This gets rowdy, loud and is a lot of fun.

We do pass a basket around, however, we only pass it one time and that is Saturday night. Please bring a little extra that you feel you can share. All the money goes to the scholarship fun.

At this point you will be starting to get a little sleep deprived, but you won’t care. You can sleep at home.  You can’t miss the fun and hanging with your new found friends.

Sunday

“Spiritual Journey “, another amazing story by another amazing woman

There are many more surprises in store for you on your weekend retreat.  Go to the registration button and register today.

As you can see, we are not NA, AA or AL-ANON. We are women of all 12 step programs.
