THE PURPOSE OF THE Women's Recovery Workshop? The purpose of the Women's Recovery Workshop is to offer an opportunity for women in any 12-step program to gather and share their recovery with each other, learn more about the steps and how to apply the principles in their daily lives. This is not a workshop led by mental health professionals. All of our workshop leaders and speakers are simply members of a 12 step program sharing experience, strength and hope. WHAT IS THE AGENDA FOR THE WEEKEND? Registration opens Friday afternoon at We have 4 main speakers: TELL ME ABOUT THE Step Sisters SINGING GROUP? We are a group of women in recovery who carry the message to the woman who is still suffering through our singing performances at the Womens Recovery Workshop at Rock Eagle. If you have a song suggestion or would like to sing with us (no audition necessary - willingness is the key) please email us at stepsisters@wrwwomensrecoveryworkshop.com A note from our fearless leader: If you want to sing you can sing. So don't put off joining with the excuse "I would love to sing with you but I can't sing!" The only requirement is a desire to sing! WHAT IS THE WRW SCHOLARSHIP FUND? A fund to assist the woman who is unable to pay the full registration fee. We provide a lifetime maximum of two (2) scholarships per woman. One initial and one hardship scholarship. All scholarship applicants are asked to contribute as much as possible toward the full registration fee and the scholarship fund pays the balance.
